In an announcement that everyone knew was only a matter of time, Kim Kardashian recently announced that she is expecting her first child with her boyfriend, rap superstar Kanye West. It will be the first child for both of them, and the world can expect to hear way too much information about Kardashian’s pregnancy for the next six months. She is apparently already three months into her pregnancy, according to the world’s leading celebrity gossip website, TMZ.com.
Questions About Paternity
Even though the couple seem to be aglow and full of joy at their happy news, under the surface all may not be as rosy as it appears. There are rumors floating all over the Internet that Kanye may be looking to get a paternity test done to see if he is actually the baby’s father.
There are many reasons to suspect that Kanye may have legitimate concerns about whether he is actually the child’s father. For one thing, there is Kim Karsdashian’s messy romantic history. It seems that she has dated half of the big-name celebrities in the sports world. She had a long relationship with NFL star running back Reggie Bush. She is also still technically married to a New Jersey Net basketball player, Kris Humphries.
That isn’t even to mention Kim K’s infamous sex tape that was widely circulated all over the world. She does have a very checkered past when it comes to her romantic entanglements. It seems like it would only be natural that Kanye would maybe have some concerns about whether she has been a bad girl once again.
A Look at the Chances Kanye Is Not the Father
Doing the math, it appears that Kim K got pregnant sometime in October. Her life is very closely monitored by all the paparazzi, so it would stand to reason that they would have noticed if she had been getting friendly with another man at that time. There doesn’t seem to be any evidence that she was seen cavorting with any other man but her boyfriend Kanye then, but that isn’t to say something unseemly didn’t happen behind closed doors.
After all, she did attend about a half dozen Halloween parties in October in a variety of sexy outfits. IT is not outside the realm of possibility that these risqué costumes caught the eye of another man. She may have had too much to drink and cheated on Kanye. There are many things that could have happened to make the paternity of the child an issue.
Benefit of the Doubt
To be fair, they both do seem to be legitimately happy about the news. Kanye seemed thrilled when he announced it in front of a crowd of 5,000 fans at a concert in December. It seems like the celebrity gossips and the general public should just let them enjoy their happiness right now. If something is later announced to substantiate the rumors that Kanye is pushing for a US or UK paternity test, then the questions can be brought up and discussed.
